Is 19 aps score good?

Generally an aps score of 19 is considered to be a satisfactory score. It is the minimum requirement for admission to many higher certificate and diploma courses at universities in South Africa. Unfortunately with an aps of 19 you cannot apply for bachelor courses. To apply for bachelor courses you need to at least have a higher aps.

Truth is, many universities will accept students who have an APS that is higher than the minimum. This is because universities are looking for students who are academically strong and who are likely to succeed in their studies. Consider upgrading or rewriting your matric to stand a better chance of being accepted in majority of universities.
