BLU and PMI in collaboration with East Coast radio is welcoming applications for their 2024 Bursary program. The applications are open to unemployed matriculants and closes on the 26th of January 2024. 
 

EAST COAST RADIO BURSARY - 2024

About the East Coast Radio Bursary 

The BLU, PMI and East Coast Radio 2024 Bursary Programme aims to give disadvantaged young South African citizens access to higher education by giving them the chance to pursue a qualification that can open up a variety of job opportunities. It is intended to assist unemployed matriculants within the Kwa-Zulu Natal ("KZN") region. 
 

FIELD OF STUDY

The bursary programme is open to students who want to pursue a Higher Certificate qualification in the following field:

• Business Management

Note: The qualification must be completed at the PMI Musgrave Campus

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE EAST COAST RADIO BURSARY

To qualify for the East Coast Radio you must meet the following requirements:

• Must be a South African citizen 
• Must have completed Matric in 2022/2023
• Must be residing within the KZN region
• Must have achieved a minimum of 30% in English (NSC)
• For NC(V) with Higher Certificate admission at Level 4: a minimum of 40% in English (either First Additional Language or Home Language), a minimum of 30% in Maths or Maths Literacy, a minimum of 40% in Life Orientation, and a minimum of 50% in four vocational subjects. 
• Must be able to begin studies in 2024
• Must have a combined household income less than R350,000 per annum. 

 THE EAST COAST RADIO BURSARY COVERS:

• Tuition costs

EAST COAST RADIO BURSARY REQUIRED DOCUMENTS:

Applications for the East Coast Radio must be submitted with following documents:

• Certified copy of South African ID document 
• Proof of residence ( e.g. utility bill, bank statement etc.)
• Certified copy of matric results
• Copy of CV
• Motivational letter
• Completed and signed PMI application form.

NOTE: Certified copies must not be older than THREE months

How to apply for the East Coast Radio Bursary- 2024

To apply for the East Coast Radio Bursary for the 2024 academic year you need to: 

1. Download the PMI Bursary application Form HERE 
2. Complete the PMI application form.
3. Visit the East Coast Radio website HERE
4. Fill in the online application form and upload the required documents AND the PMI application form. 
5. Submit your application  

CLOSING DATE:
