Enel Green Power and Dalitso Holdings are inviting all suitable candidates who are residing in Northern Cape, Western Cape and Free State province to apply for the Enel Bursary for the 2024 academic year.

FIELD OF STUDY

Enel Green Power bursary program is not limited to specific fields of study. The bursary funds ALL fields of study. This open approach recognizes the diverse needs and aspirations of young South Africans and empowers them to pursue their chosen paths.

 

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ENEL BURSARY

To qualify for the Enel Bursary you must meet the following requirements:

  • You must be a South African citizen
  • You must have completed Matric OR in matric (class of 2023)
  • You must have been accepted to study at University OR
  • You must be currently studying at University
  • You must have achieved a minimum overall average of 65%
  • You must have a household income of less than R357 000 per annum
  • Candidates with disabilities are welcome to apply
  • You must reside within 50km of Enel Sites (Garob Wind Farm, Pulida Energy, Sublunary Trading, Soetwater Wind Farm and Karusa Wind Farm), in the Free State, Northern Cape, or Western Cape (view Enel’s wind and solar plants here)

 

ENEL BURSARY COVERS:

  • Registration fees
  • Tuition fees
  • Textbooks
  • Learning Materials
  • Accommodation
  • Meal Allowance
  • Travel Allowance
  • Examination fees (if applicable)

 

ENEL BURSARY REQUIRED DOCUMENTS:

  • Your certified ID Document (Not older than 6 months)
  • Certified ID copies of parents/guardian (if under 18 years)
  • Acceptance letter from the University
  • Academic Record if you are currently studying
  • Medical certificate (if disabled)
  • Proof of residence
  • Proof of monthly household income (before deductions)
  • Testimonial by an educational official which includes their name, position/title, institution, contact details (email and cellphone), signature, date, and official stamp of the institution. The testimonial should state details about your academic potential, leadership capabilities, home circumstances, and why the referee recommends you be the recipient of the bursary award

 Qualifying individuals can submit their applications online on the following link:

You will be required to fill in your personal details and to upload supporting documents. All applications should be sent online. Applications not submitted online will not be considered for funding.

 

CLOSING DATE:
