About Hexagon Trust Bursary 

The Hexagon Trust is situated in Durban, South Africa. It is a charitable non-profit NGO that aims to provide opportunities for students to realise their full educational potential. In addition to this, The Hexagon Trust aims to contribute to the process of educational transformation. The trust provides bursaries to economically disadvantaged students.

The bursary programme is open to students who want to pursue undergraduate studies in the following faculties:

• Faculty of Science
• Faculty of  Engineering
• Faculty of Commerce

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE HEXAGON TRUST BURSARY

To qualify for the Hexagon Trust Bursary you must meet the following requirements:

• You must be a South African citizen
• You must be between 18 years or older
• You must have completed Matric OR in matric
• Have been accepted or registered at tertiary institution
• Able to demonstrate financial need
• have a strong academic history
• Must be doing first year in 2024
• be committed to developing their community
• Want to study towards an undergraduate qualification in the above mentioned faculties.
• Want to study at a recognised and accredited institution of higher learning in South Africa (University or University of Technology)

HEXAGON TRUST BURSARY COVERS:

• Registration fees
• Tuition fees
• Book Allowance

HEXAGON TRUST BURSARY REQUIRED DOCUMENTS:

• Your certified ID Document
• Certified grade 12 June 2023 exam results, if currently in Matric
• Certified copy of Matric certificate, if completed Matric
• Acceptance letter and/or proof of registration
• Certified copies of parents or guardians ID documents
• Parents or guardians proof of household income (payslip if employed/ sworn affidavit if unemployed)
• Motivational letter including your future plans, background of your school career and family background
• Letter of recommendation from your school principal

How to apply for the Hexagon Trust Bursary - 2024

 To apply for the Hexagon Trust Bursary for 2024 follow the easy steps below:

Step 1: Applications are done online. Click on this link to start the application process:  https://www.hexagontrust.org/login/

Step 2: Log into the Student Portal with your details, or if you are a new applicant, you must register on the system

Step 3: Complete the online application form, and attach any documents that are required. for the bursary application.

Step 4: Keep an eye on your email, or log back to your student portal to view your application status.

All applications should be submitted online. Applications not submitted online will not be considered for funding.

CLOSING DATE:
