The Moshal Scholarship Program is a beacon of hope for talented and motivated students in South Africa and Israel. Since 2009, Moshal has been providing life-changing opportunities for individuals who might otherwise be locked out of higher education due to financial constraints or disadvantaged backgrounds. This scholarship program is more than just financial aid; it's a comprehensive support system that empowers students to succeed academically, personally, and professionally.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE MOSHAL SCHOLARSHIP
To qualify for the Moshal Scholarship you must meet the following requirements:
You must be a South African or Israel citizen
You must have completed Matric OR in matric
You must have a solid academic record if you are a university student
You must be studying or want to study towards an undergraduate degree qualification, within one of the fields of study listed above
You must have achieved a minimum result of 70% for English, Mathematics, Physical Science and/or Accounting
You must have a family income of NOT more than R200 000 per annum (before deductions)
You must be studying or intend on studying at one of the following universities:
University of Witwatersrand (Wits)
University of Pretoria (UP)
University of Cape Town (UCT)
Stellenbosch University (SUN)
University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN)
University of Free State (UFS)
University of Johannesburg (UJ)

MOSHAL SCHOLARSHIP REQUIRED DOCUMENTS:
Your certified ID Document
Passport copy and study visa copy – if not a South African citizen
Parents or guardians certified ID copies
Declaration / Consent Form signed by parents or guardian – if you are under 18 years old
Grade 11 November results if currently in grade 12
Proof of all Social Grants – letter or statement, not scan of SASSA card
OR 3 months’ bank statement from your parents/guardian (not your personal bank account), from ALL of their bank accounts
OR affidavit stating they don’t have a bank account
How to apply for the Moshal Scholarship - 2024
Applying for theMoshal Scholarship is straightforward. All applications should be submitted online on their website. Click HERE to apply.
You will be required to register an account, login then fill in your personal details and attach supporting documents. Once you have completed the online form click on the "Submit Application" tab. All applications should be sent online. Applications not submitted online will not be considered for funding.
NOTE:
Please answer the application in full – an incomplete application form won’t be considered.
The information you submit should accurately reflect your current status.
Candidates who meet criteria may be contacted for an interview. Unsuccessful candidates will be notified by email.
You may save your entry and continue at a later stage. Once you click on the SUBMIT button, your application will be considered fully completed and you won’t be able to change your entry but will be able to update your personal details and upload documents.
You may only submit one application form, so please check your answers carefully before pushing SUBMIT.
