N3 Toll Concession is inviting students residing in Mpumalanga, Free State and KwaZulu-Natal provinces to apply for their bursary program for the 2024 academic year.

About N3TC Bursary

The N3TC, responsible for the iconic N3 Toll Route, understands the value of education in fuelling progress. Their bursary program specifically targets students residing in municipalities along the N3 corridor, ensuring those most impacted by the road benefit directly. This focus on local communities fosters a sense of ownership and empowers residents to actively contribute to the region's development.

 

The bursary programme is open to students who are pursuing undergraduate/postgraduate qualification in the following fields:

  • Accounting
  • Civil Engineering
  • Information Technology
  • Marketing
  • Mathematics and Science Teaching

 

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE N3TC BURSARY

To qualify for the N3TC Bursary you must meet the following requirements:

  • You must be a South African citizen
  • You must have completed Matric
  • You must be studying towards an undergraduate degree qualification in the above mentioned courses
  • You must be studying at a recognised and accredited university in South Africa
  • You must be in your 3rd, 4th or Honours year of study in 2024
  • You must have a strong academic record
  • You must maintain a minimum overall average of 60%
  • You must have proven financial need
  • You must NOT have any outstanding student debt (all previous fees must be paid up)
  • You must be from one of these municipal areas, along the N3 Toll Route corridor:
  • (Free State: Mafube, Maluti-a-Phofung, Phumelela) 
  • (KwaZulu-Natal: Alfred Duma, iNkosi Langalibalele, Mpofana, Okhahlamba, uMngeni)
  • (Mpumalanga: Dipaleseng)

 

 

N3TC BURSARY COVERS:

  • Tuition fees
  • Textbooks
  • Other study expenses

 

N3TC BURSARY REQUIRED DOCUMENTS:

  • Your certified ID Document
  • Certified copy of Matric certificate
  • Full academic Record
  • Proof of Residence
  • Proof of University Registration
  • proof of parents/legal guardian’s household income (latest payslip or employment letter if employed/ affidavit if an informal trader/ affidavit if unemployed/ SASSA letter if receiving a grant: certified copy)

 

How to apply for the N3TC Bursary - 2024
