What is Study Trust Missing Middle Undergraduate Bursary

The Study Trust Missing Middle Undergraduate Bursary is a financial aid program that aims to help middle-class students in South Africa access tertiary education. Study Trust Missing Middle Undergraduate Bursary Eligible Criteria (Requirements)

  • Be a South African citizen or permanent resident
  • Applicants must have obtained a minimum of level 5 for mathematics in Grade 12
  • Applicants must not be older than 21 years in their first year of study
  • Applicants must have applied for and been provisionally admitted  into public traditional university
  • Must study full time
  • Applicants  in grade 12, completed grade 12 not more than 3 years will be considered
  • Applicants must belong to the missing middle and also be able to prove that their combined annual gross family income is between R350 000 to R600 000
  • Be enrolled full-time in an undergraduate degree at a South African university

Study Trust Missing Middle Bursary Required Documents 

  • Certified copy of identity document
  • Certified Matric Certificate (If you have completed matric)
  • Final grade 11 results and June Report (If currently doing matric)
  • Provisional acceptance letter from the university of your choice
  • Proof of income of parents or guardians
