Are you an unemployed youth, are you available for six months and are not committed to other programmes? Well the youth programme scholarship may be a great opportunity for you. Nzalo Careers is offering a scholarship to 994 unemployed South African youth in 7 provinces.

Nzalo Careers Scholarship

All unemployed youth both male and female from disadvantaged communities who are interested in personal development and acquiring basic computer skills are invited to apply for the Nzalo Careers Scholarship.

 

Program Content:

  • Basic computer training: The program will cover the basics of computer operation, including word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, and the internet.
  • Visual board creation: Visual boards are a powerful tool for goal setting and visualization. The program will teach participants how to create and use visual boards to achieve their personal and professional goals.
  • Personal development: The program will focus on developing participants' soft skills, such as communication, teamwork, and problem-solving. Participants will also learn how to set goals, manage their time, and build their confidence.

Nzalo Careers Scholarship Requirements:

  • Must be unemployed
  • No tertiary qualification
  • Must be from previously disadvantaged community
  • Must have completed matric in the last two years
  • Have interest in STEM career
  • Has not participated in a similar program
  • Not registered in a governmental school
  • Must be between the ages of 18-24

There is a limited space of 142 youth per province 

  • Gauteng
  • Kwazulu Natal
  • Limpopo
  • North West
  • Mpumalanga
  • Northern Cape
  • Free State

The scholarship is targeted at the youth in following areas:

Gauteng: Atteridgeville, Mabopane,  

Kwazulu Natal: Umlazi, KwaMashu 

Limpopo: Thohoyandou, Makhado 

North West: Rekgaratlhile, Mafikeng 

Mpumalanga: Witbank, Middelburg 

Northern Cape: KImberly 

Free State: Botshabelo, Thaba Nchu
