Adapt IT Bursary
The Adapt IT is now accepting applications for their bursary program for the 2024 academic year. The bursary program is open to both undergraduate and postgraduate qualifications. Interested students have until the 8th of February 2024 to submit their applications online.

About the Adapt IT Bursary
The Adapt IT 2024 Bursary Program is available to help students with their study costs in qualifications such as finance, software development etc. funding for these qualifications helps in the country's skills development plan for a sustainable skills pipeline for future needs. The bursary aims to improve the communities in and around the places where it operates and assist in the growth and success of future leaders.
FIELD OF STUDY
The bursary programme is open to students who want to pursue or are pursuing a undergraduate/postgraduate qualification in the following fields:
- Software Development
- Information Systems
- Finance
- Business Administration
- Business Development
REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ADAPT IT BURSARY
To qualify for the ADAPT IT Bursary you must meet the following requirements:
- Must be a South African citizen
- Must be Black/African, Coloured OR Indian/Asian)
- Must be studying/intend on studying towards a undergraduate/postgraduate qualification in one of the fields listed above.
- Must have achieved and maintain a minimum overall academic average of 60%.
- Must be accepted to study at one of the following Universities : University of Johannesburg, Nelson Mandela University, University of Limpopo, University of KwaZulu-Natal, Central Peninsula University of Technology, Tshwane University of Technology.
- Must be entering 1st, 2nd, 3rd or Honours level in 2024.
ADAPT IT BURSARY COVERS:
- Tuition fees
ADAPT IT BURSARY REQUIRED DOCUMENTS:
- Certified copy of South African ID
- Certified copy of matric certificate/statement
- Full academic record (if currently studying)
- Proof of Registration/Acceptance letter
- Tuition Fee Statement
- Payslip(s) for all members of your family who are employed (even if it is part-time)
- Affidavit for anyone who is unemployed
- Proof of Social Grants
