- Must have a Matric certificate
- Must have passed:
- Pure Mathematics (Level 4 or higher / HG D or SG C or above)
- English (Level 4 or higher / HG D or SG C or above)
- Must be a South African citizen with a valid ID
- Must be medically fit and willing to undergo a medical assessment for the ATSO (Air Traffic Services Officer) stream
- Must attach Grade 12 results to the application
- Must be willing to relocate anywhere in South Africa
- Must be an unemployed South African youth
- Applicants who have previously been on a similar ATNS programme will not be considered
