CPUT 2026 Registrations: A Complete Guide for Students

CPUT Registration Dates for 2026
Undergraduate Students (Including Advanced Diplomas)
First-Year Students
- Online and off-campus registration:
📅 20 January to 6 February 2026 - Students with full acceptance may register from 20 January.
- Students with provisional acceptance based on 2025 NSC results will receive an SMS between 14 and 19 January 2026.
- Once you receive the SMS, you must register within 48 hours, starting from 20 January 2026.
If you do not register in time, your space may be given to another applicant.
Returning Students
- Registration opens on 12 January 2026.
- Registration dates differ by faculty.
- Check the faculty registration schedule in the official registration booklet.
Postgraduate Students
- Returning Master’s and Doctoral students:
Register until 27 February 2026 - Course-based Master’s students:
Register until 27 February 2026 - First-time research Master’s and Doctoral students:
Register until 29 May 2026
