Eastcape Midlands TVET College is one of the 50 public Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Colleges in South Africa, operating under the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET). The college has eight campuses located across the Eastern Cape, including in Uitenhage, Graaff-Reinet, and KwaNobuhle, among others.

Eastcape Midlands TVET College 2nd Semester Application Opening and Closing Dates for 2025

The second semester applications at Eastcape Midlands TVET College are now open as of 1 May 2025. The second semester applications will remain open until 31 May 2025.  Prospective students are encouraged to apply as early as possible to avoid missing out, as spaces are limited.

NB: Late applications may not be considered, so early submission is highly recommended.

Courses Available for the 2nd Semester 2025 - Eastcape Midlands TVET College 

Eastcape Midlands TVET College offers a range of NATED (Report 191) and NC(V) – National Certificate (Vocational) programmes. However, for the second semester, only selected NATED programmes in Business Studies field are open for this intake. The following courses are open for second semester for the 2025 academic year at Eastcape Midlands TVET College:

Required Documents for Eastcape Midlands TVET College 2nd Semester Applications 2025

To ensure a smooth application process, all prospective students must upload or submit certified copies of the following documents.

1. Certified Copy of South African ID or Passport

• All applicants must provide a certified copy of their South African Identity Document (ID).
• For international students, a valid passport and study permit are required.
• The copy must be certified within the last 3 months.

2. Certified Copy of Latest School Results

• This includes your Grade 12 (Matric) certificate, Grade 11 final results, or your most recent school report.
• If you have already completed matric, submit your Senior Certificate (SC) or National Senior Certificate (NSC).
• If you're applying for a NATED programme, ensure your results meet the entry requirements for the course.
• If you are already an NCV TVET College student, you need to provide your NCV L4 Certificate or results

3. Proof of Residential Address

Submit an official document showing your current residential address, such as:

• A municipal bill (e.g. electricity or water bill)
• A retail account
• A sworn affidavit (if none of the above is available)

4. Certified ID Copies of Parent(s) or Guardian(s) (If Applicable)

• You will need to submit your parents or Guardians certified copies of their IDs 
• These copies should not be more than 3 months 

Important Notes:

• All documents must be clear, legible, and certified at a police station or post office.
• Incomplete applications or missing documents will result in disqualification or delays in processing.
