Pass thresholds:
Vocational subjects: at least 50%
Fundamental subjects:
Life Orientation: 40%
English First Additional Language: 40%
Mathematics or Mathematical Literacy: 30%
Only one fundamental subject can be condoned (with up to 5% reduction), but no condonement permitted for vocational subjects.
For Engineering-related courses (e.g., N4–N6):
A Grade 12 pass with Mathematics and Science is required.
For Business programmes (e.g., N4–N6 in Business Management, Financial Management, etc.):
Requires Grade 12 with relevant subjects (e.g., Accounting, Economics, etc.).
For entry at N1 Engineering:
