FinX BEE is inviting students to apply for their bursary programme for 2024 academic year. Interested students have until the 29th of February 2024 to submit their emailed applications.

About the FINX BEE Bursary
The bursary program helps FinX BEE establish connections with bright students and prospective workers, creating a mutually beneficial relationship, as FinX BEE finds and recruits talent for their company while students receive education, funding and industry exposure. This bursary program seeks to support deserving students from Kathu, Rustenburg and Mogalakwena area.
FIELD OF STUDY
The bursary programme is open to students who want to pursue OR are pursuing an undergraduate qualification in the following fields:
Engineering Studies:
- Mechanical Engineering
- Metallurgical Engineering
- Electrical and Control Engineering
- Mining Engineering
- Chemical Engineering
- Industrial Engineering
- Production and Operations Management
Business Studies:
- Human Resources
- Accounting
- Finance
- Management
- Computer Science
REQUIREMENTS FOR THE FINX BEE BURSARY
To qualify for the FINX BEE Bursary you must meet the following requirements:
- Must be a South African Citizen
- Must have completed Matric.
- Must not be a NSFAS beneficiary
- Must be Black/African, Coloured OR Indian/Asian
- Must have a proven track record on merits.
- Must be from the Kathu (Northern Cape), Rustenburg (North West) and Mogalakwena (Limpopo) area.
- Must be entering first year of study however, current students may also apply if they have partially completed their studies with satisfactory results and would not be able to further their studies without funding.
- Must be studying or intend to study an undergraduate qualification within one of the listed fields above
- Must be studying or intend to study at a public university in South Africa
FINX BEE BURSARY COVERS:
- Tuition fees
- Prescribed textbooks
- Accommodation or living expenses.
- Registration
FINX BEE BURSARY REQUIRED DOCUMENTS:
- Certified Copy of ID document
- Certified Copy of Matric Certificate or Statement
- Certified copy of Proof of your disability (if you have any disability).
- Signed and completed POPIA form
- Curriculum Vitae (CV)
- Certified Copy of applicants financial statements from the University, reflecting the institution’s banking details.
