About the Greater Letaba  Municipality Bursary

The Municipality of Greater Letaba Municipality Bursary aims to close the skills gap in the area and throughout South Africa. The bursary seeks to empower and uplift worthy students in the area by providing them with access to higher education and the knowledge they need to better themselves. The bursary covers disciplines that are essential to the municipality's development and address serious skills shortage.

FIELD OF STUDY

The bursary programme is open to students who are pursuing or want to pursue an undergraduate qualification in the following fields:

• Agricultural Science 
• Engineering and Built Environment 
• Finance 
• Information Technology 
• Tourism 

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE GREATER LETABA MUNICIPALITY BURSARY

To qualify for the Greater Letaba Municipality Bursary you must meet the following requirements:

• Must be a South African citizen 
• Must have completed Matric 
• Must be studying or intend to study towards a qualification in one of the fields listed above 
• Must be studying at a South African higher education institution.
• Must reside in the Greater Letaba Municipality region (Limpopo Province)
• Must have a STRONG academic record (if currently studying)
• Must demonstrate financial need .
• People with disabilities are encouraged to apply.

GREATER LETABA MUNICIPALITY BURSARY REQUIRED DOCUMENTS:

• Certified copy of South African ID
• Certified copies of Parents/Legal guardians South African ID 
• Parents/Legal guardians payslip if working/affidavit if not working or proof of SASSA grant or pension if applicable
• Proof of residence 
• Latest academic record (if currently studying)
• Admission letter from chosen institution
• Motivational letter
• Certified copy of Matric certificate/statement 
• Testimonial letter from previous school/lecturer/traditional authority 

How to apply for the Greater Letaba Municipality Bursary - 2024

• Download the Bursary application form HERE OR collect the form at the following Municipal offices between Monday- Friday during working hours (Mokwakwaila, Senwamokgope. Kgapaneand the Main office in Modjadjiskloof)
• Complete the form and attach all the required documents 
• Submit the application form along with the supporting documents by:
