• Metallurgical Engineering
• Electrical Engineering
• Industrial Engineering
• Mechanical Engineering
• Accounting
• BSC Computer Science 
• Statistics
• Mathematics

Hulamin bursary programme covers these tertiary expenses: 

• Registration fees
• Tuition fees
• Accommodation fees
• Book and meal allowance
• Laptop
• Medical aid insurance
• Opportunities for paid vacation work during university holidays

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE HULAMIN BURSARY

To qualify for the Hulamin Bursary, you must meet the following requirements:

• Must be a South African citizen
• Must have completed matric or in grade 12
• Must be from a previously disadvantaged background
• You must be resident of Pietermaritzburg or its surrounding area 
• A minimum B symbol in Mathematics (higher grade), Physical Science (higher grade) and English for an engineering degree (if in Grade 12)
• OR a minimum B symbol in Accountancy and English for an accounting degree (if in Grade 12)
• Must be studying or intend on studying towards an Undergraduate degree in public universities

HULAMIN BURSARY REQUIRED DOCUMENTS:

• Certified copy of your ID.
• Certified copy of matric certificate/statement
• Academic Record if you are currently studying 
• Proof of registration or acceptance 
• Short Curriculum Vitae (maximum 2 pages)
