Who Can Apply?
To be considered for the Lephalale Municipality Bursary for 2026, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be a South African citizen
- Be a resident of the Lephalale Local Municipality
- Have completed Grade 12 or be currently in Matric
- Have been accepted or registered at a recognised public tertiary institution
- Be studying or intending to study in an approved field (Fields listed above)
- Demonstrate financial need
- Have a strong academic record
- Preference will be given to students who have passed Mathematics, Commerce, Physical Science and Technology as main subjects

- South African ID document
- Matric certificate or latest academic record
- Proof of acceptance or registration at a tertiary institution
- Proof of residence within Lephalale Municipality

- Parents’ or guardians’ proof of income or affidavit if unemployed
