Applications are open at Sir Val Duncan Campus for the following occupational programmes:

Pipe Fitter

Entry requirements:

• NQF Level 1 or
• Passed Grade 9 with Mathematics and Science
• Or Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)

Plumber

Entry requirements:

• NQF Level 3 qualification or
• Passed Grade 11 (equivalent to N2 knowledge areas) in:
  • Engineering Mathematics
  • Engineering Science
  • Building Drawings
• Or Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)

Who Is a New Student?

You are regarded as a new student if:

• You are applying to Mopani TVET College for the first time
• You have never studied at Mopani TVET College before
• You do not have a Mopani student number from any previous year

Documents Needed for Application

You must upload clear copies (PDF or JPEG) of the following:

• South African ID
• Latest results
• Proof of residence

If applying for NSFAS, also upload:

• Proof of household income
• Parents’ or legal guardians’ IDs
