Step by step guide to apply at MUT for Second Semester 2025

• Visit the Official MUT Application Site:

MUT second semester application must be completed through the Central Application Office (CAO). You will be required to enter your ID number to get started with your online application. Fill in the required details accurately, including personal information, academic qualifications, and your preferred course of study.  
 

• Verify Information provided:

Before submitting your application ensure that you verify if all the provided information are correct. Providing wrong information may delay your application or worse lead to rejection. Click the on the  'Process My Application’ button after assessing all the provided details. 

• Upload Supporting Documents:

Ensure that you upload certified copies of the following documents:

1. Matric Certificate or latest academic results  
2. ID document or passport (for international students)  
3. Or any other relevant document 

• Pay the Application Fee:

Proceed to pay the MUT non-refundable application fee. This fee can be paid using various forms of payment. It is up to an individual which method works for them. The MUT/CAO Application Fee is as follows:

South African citizens: R250-00

International applicants: R300-00

NB: Once your Administration fee has been received, your application will be made available to MUT.

The Mangosuthu University of Technology second semester applications for the 2025 academic year will close on the 31st of May 2025.  All applications must be submitted by this date..
