About the PN Foundation Bursary:
The Patrick Nndwamato Education Foundation (PN Foundation) was established in 2019, the foundation is dedicated to empowering underprivileged youth through education, aiming to uplift communities and drive economic development. The PN Foundation's mission is to make a tangible difference in the lives of students by emphasizing the value of education.
By focusing on youth from disadvantaged backgrounds, the foundation aims to nurture their potential, guiding them from their formative years through to post-secondary education. This long-term commitment ensures that these young individuals are equipped to contribute meaningfully to their communities and the broader South African economy.
FIELD OF STUDY
The bursary programme is open to students who are pursuing or want to pursue an undergraduate qualification in the following fields:
- Artisan trade (Plumbing)
- Artisan trade (Electrical Work)
- Artisan trade (Tailoring)
- Artisan trade (Carpentry)
REQUIREMENTS FOR THE PN FOUNDATION BURSARY
To qualify for the PN Foundation Bursary you must meet the following requirements:
- Must be a South African citizen
- Must have completed Matric
- Must be accepted/provisionally accepted or registered at a college or TVET college
- You must be have interest of becoming an artisan
- You MUST not be studying or accepted to study at university
- You should have the intention to pursue studies to become an Artisan, such as in Plumbing, Electrical Work, Tailoring, Carpentry, or similar fields.
PN FOUNDATION BURSARY REQUIRED DOCUMENTS:
- A certified copy of a South African Identity Document
- Certified copy of statement of results or National Senior Certificate (NSC)
- Proof of acceptance or registration from a college or TVET college
- Course outline and quotation
- Motivational Letter
- Proof of Residential Address (not older than 3 months)

- Please note that this application form is only applicable to new bursars and cannot be utilized by current bursars.
