About the programme: This course teaches you how to work with electricity safely. You will learn how to fix and install lights, plugs, and other electrical things in homes, shops, and factories. You will also learn how to find and repair electrical problems.
Campus Offered: Vereeniging, Sebokeng & Heidelberg Campuses
Requirements: Applicants must have at least a Grade 9 pass with a minimum of 50% in Mathematics, Natural Science, and English.
Career Opportunities: When you finish this course, you can work as an electrician, an electrical helper, or start your own business fixing electrical systems.
Duration: 3 Years
About the programme: This course teaches you how to make and fix metal parts for machines. You will learn how to use tools and machines to shape, cut, and fit metal pieces together.

Requirements: Applicants must have at least a Grade 9 pass with a minimum of 50% in Mathematics, Natural Science, and English.
Career Opportunities: After finishing, you can work in factories, mines, or workshops as a fitter and turner. You can also open your own workshop in the future.
Duration: 3 Years
About the programme: Boilermaker teaches you how to work with metal to make big things like tanks, pipes, and steel frames. You will learn how to cut, bend, and join metal.

Requirements: Applicants must have at least a Grade 9 pass with a minimum of 50% in Mathematics, Natural Science, and English.
Career Opportunities: You can work in places like mines, factories, or construction sites as a boilermaker. You can also fix or build metal structures.
Duration: 3 Years
About the programme: This programme teaches you how to join metal pieces together using heat. You will learn different ways of welding and how to read simple drawings.

Requirements: Applicants must have at least a Grade 9 pass with a minimum of 50% in Mathematics, Natural Science, and English.
Career Opportunities: After finishing, you can work as a welder or metal worker in factories, car companies, or construction sites. You can even work in other countries because welding is needed everywhere.
Duration: 3 Years
About the programme: This course teaches you how to fix and look after cars and other vehicles. You will learn about engines, brakes, and car electrical systems. You will also learn how to find problems in cars and repair them safely.

Requirements: Applicants must have at least a Grade 9 pass with a minimum of 50% in Mathematics, Natural Science, and English.
Career Opportunities: After completing this course, you can work as a car mechanic or in a garage. You can also open your own car repair business one day.

A Final External Integrated Summative Assessment (EISA) will be conducted at the end of the programme.
