NATED COURSES: Business Management N4-N6, Educare N4-N6, Hospitality And Catering Services N4-N6, Human Resource Management N4-N6, Management Assistant N4-N6, Marketing Management N4-N6, Public Management N4-N6, Boiler Making Report N1-N3, Electrical Engineering Studies N1-N3, Fitting And Turning N1- N3, Instrumentation N1-N3, Introductory Entrepreneurship N4 (intro), Introductory Communication N4 (intro), Introductory Computer Practice N4 (intro) and Introductory Accounting N4 (intro).
The above listed courses are offered in various campuses. The campuses are as follows; George Campus, Beaufort West Campus, Mossel Bay Campus, Oudtshoorn Campus, Bitou Campus and Hessequa Campus.
George Campus:
The George College was established as a part-time institution and started offering classes for the first time in January 1968.
The Campus operation offers full-time tuition and has established an excellent reputation, locally and nationally. A recent survey has also shown that most students have secured employment within a year of qualifying.
Beaufort West Campus:
This is the most remote Campus of South Cape TVET College. Beaufort West Campus has been declared a nodal area for development and assistance.
Programmes offered at Beaufort West Campus include NCV and Nated.
Mossel Bay Campus:
Mssel Bay Campus was established by the support and encouragement of various stakeholders internally and externally.
This Campus delivers excellent service to the College’s catchment area, which includes the Garden Route, Central Karoo and Kannaland Districts.
Oudtshoorn Campus:
Oudtshoorn Technical College was established after the local authorities had to close down the Commercial High School and that infrastructure became available.
As a TVET institution, the Campus firmly believes in the developmental value of career training through effective partnerships. Partnerships have been secured to ensure accredited, quality and affordable education.
Bitou Campus:
The Bitou Campus, with its beautiful setting is expected to offer even more to the public with various expansions planned that began with the building of new classrooms and a training kitchen.
Hessequa Campus:
This Campus is another example of what may be achieved when a TVET college, local authorities and Provincial Government take hands for the benefit of the area.
Established with ex-MEC of Education in the Western Cape, Mr Cameron Dugmore, it is situated in the picturesque town of Riversdale. Various Learnership and Skills courses have been offered through the Innovation & Development Branch.
