About the Thabo Mofutsanyana District Municipality Bursary

The Thabo Mofutsanyana District Municipality Bursary aims to remove financial obstacles and give academically smart individuals the chance to pursue higher education. The bursary programme addresses the Thabo Mofutsanyana District Municipality's shortage of qualified personnel in vital fields that are essential to the district's social and economic development.

FIELD OF STUDY

The bursary programme is open to students who want to pursue an undergraduate qualification in the following fields:

• Agriculture 
• BSc Environmental and Water Science 
• BSc Community Water Services and Sanitation 
• BSc Water Resource Management 
• National Diploma Water and Science Technology 
• Civil Engineering 
• Mechanical Engineering 
• Disaster Management 
• Tourism
• Geography Information Science 
• Town and Regional Planning 

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE THABO MOFUTSANYANA DISTRICT MUNICIPALITY BURSARY

To qualify for the Thabo Mofutsanyana District Municipality Bursary you must meet the following requirements:

• Must be a South African citizen
• Must be between 16 and 35 years of age.
• Must have completed Matric 
• Must be residing within the Thabo Mofutsanyana District region (Free State Province)
• Must intend to study one of the above listed qualifications
• Must be intending on studying at an accredited tertiary institution in South Africa.
• Disabled students are encouraged to apply 

THABO MOFUTSANYANA DISTRICT MUNICIPALITY BURSARY REQUIRED DOCUMENTS:

• Motivational Letter
• Certified copy of matric certificate/statement
• Proof of Acceptance/Registration at a South African tertiary institution 
• Proof of residence from Ward Councillor 
• Parents/Guardians proof of income OR affidavit if they are not working 
• If one or both parents are deceased; submit death certificate
