Theewaterskloof Municipality is accepting applications for their external study bursaries for the 2024 academic year. Interested students have until the 16th of February 2024 to submit their applications.

About the Theewaterskloof Municipality Bursary
Theewaterskloof Municipality external study bursaries provide financial assistance to deserving students from the region, the bursary seeks to remove obstacles to higher education and improve the number of the municipality citizens who can pursue higher education. Additionally the bursary provides residents with the skills and knowledge they need to either work inside the municipality or contribute to the local economy in relevant industries such as accounting, finance and infrastructure.
FIELD OF STUDY
The bursary programme is open to students who are pursuing or want to pursue a undergraduate/postgraduate qualification in the following fields:
- Finance
- Economics
- Accounting
- Supply Chain Management
- Internal Audit
- Risk Management
- Infrastructure
REQUIREMENTS FOR THE THEEWATERSKLOOF MUNICIPALITY BURSARY
To qualify for the Theewaterskloof Municipality Bursary you must meet the following requirements:
- Must reside within the Theewaterskloof Municipality area (Western Cape)
- Must have completed Matric
- Must be studying or intend on studying towards an undergraduate/postgraduate qualification within the above listed fields in 2024
- Must be registered to study at a accredited tertiary institution in South Africa
THEEWATERSKLOOF MUNICIPALITY BURSARY REQUIRED DOCUMENTS:
- Certified copy of ID of applicant
- Covering letter
- Certified copy of Matric certificate
- If currently studying, full academic record, including most recent results.
- Proof of registration at a tertiary institution for 2023/2024
- Proof of parents or guardians total income (latest payslips if employed OR an affidavit if unemployed OR proof of grant/pension)
- Proof of residence
