Keep in mind that even if a course does not require maths, it might require other subjects such as English, Tourism, Geography, Business Studies and Economics. Therefore, it is important to check the course details and requirements before applying. It is important to keep in mind that meeting the minimum admission points does not guarantee admission. The admission process is competitive and depends on the availability of space and the number of applicants. Therefore, it is advisable to apply as early as possible and to have a backup plan in case you do not get accepted.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS 

Can I study at TUT with 18 points?

The answer to this question also depends on what course you want to study. Some courses at TUT have higher admission points than others. For example, if you want to study under the engineering or science faculty,  you will need at least 28 points to be considered for admission. However, if you want to study arts and design or humanities, you might be able to get in with 18 points.

The admission points are calculated based on your Grade 11/12 results and the subjects that you chose. Each subject has a different weight depending on its level and relevance to the course. Can I study at TUT with 20 points?

Similar to the previous question, the answer to this question depends on what course you want to study. Some courses at TUT have lower admission points than others. However, if you want to study engineering or science, you will need more than 20 points.
