UKZN Begins Sending Firm Offers for 2026 Admissions picture

The University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN) has officially started sending out firm offers to prospective students for the 2026 academic year. The university confirmed that SMS notifications are being sent to successful applicants in batches over the coming days.

This process will continue until all available spaces for first-time entering undergraduate students have been filled.

Firm Offers Are Released in Phases

UKZN has emphasized that firm offers are not released all at once. Applicants who have not yet received an SMS should remain patient, as additional offers will continue to be issued over the next few days.

Important: Firm Offers Are Valid for 72 Hours

Applicants should note that firm offers are only valid for 72 hours (three days).

If an offer is not accepted within this period:

  • The offer will automatically lapse
  • The space will be reallocated to another applicant

UKZN has also confirmed that no fee is required when accepting an offer.
