First time entering students who are not registered are encouraged to use the late registration period to register. The University of Limpopo 2025 academic year classes will officially commerce on Monday the 10th of February 2025. Here's how to register at UL for the 2025 academic year
UL 2025 late registrations are strictly to be completed remotely and online. No walk ins are allowed for the registration process. Below we walk you through the step by step process on how to successfully register at the University of Limpopo for the 2025 academic year.
Step by Step guide on how to register online at UL for 2025 academic year:
- Visit the UL official website
- Login with your student number and pin
- Once logged in, click on "Registration" on the left-hand side of the screen.
- Select the course you want to register for and follow the on-screen instructions.
- Select the modules you want to register
- Click on "Submit Registration" on the left-hand side of the screen
- Once you have completed registration, you must click on Proof of Registration which is on the left-hand side of the screen.
- Print out your proof registration
- All steps must be completed before you are fully registered as a UL student.
PLEASE NOTE:
When you register, you will be required to complete, sign, and submit a formal agreement with the University of Limpopo. The formal agreement includes provisions that exempt and indemnify the University and those whose conduct it is responsible for from liability arising from damages and losses you may suffer.
If you are under the age of 18, you must have a parent or guardian sign the required form. You will be registered under the strict condition that you agree to abide by the Student Code of Conduct, the Academic Rules and Regulations of the University of Limpopo, the rules and regulations of the Faculty, and the University’s policies and procedures as amended from time to time. you agree to pay the prescribed fees and agree to be bound by the provisions of the formal agreement.
Required documents to successfully register at UL during 2025 late registration period
South African students should submit the following documents:
- Standard Bank deposit slip or Bursary proof of payment document
- Certified Documents
- Original Grade 12 results
- Identity Document
- Faculty Letter of Acceptance
International students should submit the following documents:
- Study permit from their embassies
- HESA Certificate
- Medical Cover
- Both A-level and O-level results
How to pay UL registration Fee
Steps to pay UL registration fee:
- Deposit directly into UL bank account: UL banking details
- Use your student number as the reference number on the deposit slip.
- Keep your proof of payment save
What happens if I have funding?
If you have a funder, request that they send the University of Limpopo a promissory note (letter) on or before registration.
Notify the University of Limpopo that you have funding by sending your details and the details of the funder to [email protected] or [email protected].
If you are self-funding, please send UL proof of payment four (4) working days before you register to [email protected].
UL Late Registration Closing Date
The UL 2025 Late Registration closing date is the 7th of February 2025 for new students. Students who fail to register by the stipulated date will not be allowed to register and will forfeit their place at the University of Limpopo for 2025. - Cancellation of modules or study direction
- Changing of modules or study direction
- Changing of degree/diploma programmes
- Exemption from attending a module
- Submission of application for exemption from modules passed at other universities
