The University of Limpopo (UL) has officially announced the registration dates for first-time entering students for the 2026 academic year, and if you have received an admission offer, this is the most important step you must complete to secure your space.

The University of Limpopo 2026 Registration for First-Time Entering Students
First-Time Student Registration Dates
If you are starting at the University of Limpopo for the first time in 2026, your registration period is:
Normal registration period
- Thursday, 22 January 2026 – Friday, 30 January 2026
All newly admitted students must complete their registration during this period. If you fail to register within these dates, your place is not guaranteed.
Late Registration for First-Time Students
If you miss the normal registration window, UL will give you one final opportunity:
Late registration
- Monday, 02 February 2026 – Friday, 06 February 2026
This is the last chance to register for 2026. No registrations will be processed after this period.
What You Should Do Before Registration
Before arriving on campus or logging in online, make sure that:
- You have received an official admission offer
- You have accepted your offer on the UL system
- You have all required documents (ID, matric results, proof of payment or funding)
- You have checked the registration guidelines on the UL website
Failing to prepare these documents can delay or block your registration.
