Admission Requirements for UWC 2026

To apply for a degree at UWC, you must meet the following minimum NSC (National Senior Certificate) requirements:

• A Bachelor’s pass with an achievement rating of 4 (50-59%) or higher in at least four subjects.
• A minimum UWC points score, which varies depending on the course.
• Examples of UWC Points Requirements:
• BCom Accounting: Mathematics Code 4, Accounting Code 5 or Mathematics Code 5.
• BSc Physiotherapy: Minimum 39 UWC points, Mathematics Code 4, Life Sciences Code 4, and Physical Sciences Code 4.
• Bachelor of Laws (LLB): Minimum 37 UWC points, English Code 4, Mathematics Code 3 or Mathematics Literacy Code 5.

• Residence Applications: Applicants must apply separately for UWC residence. Placement is limited and is only offered to those with confirmed admission. Apply for UWC Residence.
