About Vhembe TVET College

Located in Limpopo, Vhembe TVET College is known for its commitment to quality teaching and student support. The college has seven campuses: Makwarela, Tshisimani, Mashamba, Mavhoi, Thengwe, Shingwedzi, and Musina. Each campus offers a unique learning environment:

• Makwarela – the oldest technical campus, established in 1963

• Tshisimani – combines historical roots with modern facilities

Engineering Programs Offered

Vhembe TVET College provides programs that combine theory with practical skills, preparing students for the engineering industry:

• Civil Engineering – Focus on building and construction. Available at Mavhoi and Musina. Programs include N1-N6 (24 months) and NCV Levels 2-4 (3 years).

• Chemical Engineering – Offered at Tshisimani and Musina, emphasizing manufacturing and energy processes.

• Electrical Engineering – Including heavy current, available at campuses such as Mavhoi and Musina, covering power systems, electronics, and more.

• Mechanical Engineering – From N3 to N6, ideal for machinery and design enthusiasts. Available at Tshisimani and Musina.

These programs follow the NATED (Report 191) and NCV curricula and include 4IR (Fourth Industrial Revolution) components to ensure students are future-ready.
