About This Programme

Extended Curriculum Programme variant of BCom (Management Sciences), offered over four years. Approximately 10 students can be accommodated in the programme each year; from 2027 onwards no applicant will be able to apply for the 2027 intake.

Required Subjects

  • Mathematics 50
  • English Home Language 50
  • Afrikaans Home Language 50
  • Afrikaans First Additional Language 70
  • English First Additional Language 70

Additional Requirements

  • Only South African citizens can register for this programme
  • If you have repeated any Grade 12 subjects (NSC or equivalent curriculum) to improve marks, you are not allowed to register in the ECP
  • No transferring applicants from another faculty or institution can be selected for the programme
  • Preference given to applicants who also meet socio-economic status (SES) requirements of the University's admission policy and the SES level determined by the University
