About This Programme

Focuses on human biology and related fields with focal areas in Biology and Biology with Psychology. Prepares graduates for careers in biomedical sciences, forensic science, and health-related research.

  • Physical Sciences 3 40–49%
  • Mathematics 4 50–59%

Additional Requirements

  • NSC aggregate of at least 65% excluding Life Orientation
  • Afrikaans or English (Home Language or First Additional Language) 50%
  • Physical Sciences 50%
  • Mathematics 60% or 70% depending on choice of first-year Mathematics and Physics
Mathematics requirement is 60% if taking Mathematics (Bio) and Physics (Bio), or 70% if taking Mathematics and Physics. Also available as a 4-year ECP.
