About This Programme

Prepares students for careers in the wine industry as winemakers, viticulturists, sensory specialists, and researchers. Students gain both theoretical and practical knowledge of grape production and wine-making.

Required Subjects

  • English or Afrikaans Home Language or First Additional Language 3 40–49%
  • Mathematics 4 50–59%
  • Physical Sciences 3 40–49%

Additional Requirements

  • NSC aggregate of at least 60% excluding Life Orientation
