About This Programme

Extended Curriculum Programme variant of BCom Economics and Econometrics, offering an additional foundation year for first-time entering candidates.

Admission Requirements
Minimum APS score of 25 (excluding Life Orientation)

Required Subjects NSC levels

  • English 4 50–59%
One of the following
  • Mathematics 3 40–49%
  • Mathematical Literacy 6 70–79%

Additional Requirements

  • Only new first time entering candidates are considered for admission
  • Previously enrolled Higher Education Institution students do not qualify
  • Technical Mathematics not accepted
  • APS 25 with Maths OR 28 with Maths Literacy

Life Orientation is excluded from the APS / score calculation.

Extended Curriculum Programme variant of BCom Economics and Econometrics. Life Orientation is NOT included in the APS calculation.
