About This Programme

A Bachelor of Arts degree preparing graduates for public management roles in state departments, provincial departments, municipalities, and the public, private and NGO sectors.

Admission Requirements
Minimum APS score of 26 (excluding Life Orientation)

Required Subjects NSC levels

  • English 5 60–69%
One of the following
  • Mathematics 3 40–49%
  • Technical Mathematics 3 40–49%
  • Mathematical Literacy 5 60–69%

Additional Requirements

  • APS 26 with Maths/Tech Maths OR 28 with Mathematical Literacy

Life Orientation is excluded from the APS / score calculation.

APS 26 with Mathematics or Technical Mathematics, or APS 28 with Mathematical Literacy. Life Orientation is NOT included in the APS calculation. Available at APK and SWC campuses.
