About This Programme

A four-year professional law degree preparing graduates for admission as attorneys, advocates, and other legal professionals in South Africa.

Admission Requirements

Required Subjects

  • English Home Language or English First Additional Language 6 70–79%

Additional Requirements

  • Candidates are urged to apply as early as possible from 1 April.
  • Applicants from designated groups (Black African, Indian, Coloured) are given preference to achieve 50% first-year class representation.
English level 6 required. Faculty aims for at least 50% of first-year students from designated groups. Applicants with APS 38+ and English level 6 who have graduated may still be admitted after closing date.
