About This Programme

A three-year degree in biomedical sciences preparing graduates for research, laboratory work, and further study in health-related disciplines.

Admission Requirements

Required Subjects

  • English Home Language or First Additional Language 5 60–69%
  • Mathematics 5 60–69%
  • Life Sciences or Physical Sciences 5 60–69%

Additional Requirements

  • NSC Bachelor's degree pass
  • NBT (AQL and QL) required by 17 August 2026
  • Online NBT results not accepted
  • Selection based on Composite Index (60% school results, 40% NBT)
APS is not the primary selection criterion. A Composite Index (CI) is calculated: 60% weighting for academic results (English, Mathematics, best of Physical Sciences/Life Sciences, and best two other subjects) and 40% for NBT scores. Closing date is 30 June 2026.
