About This Programme

A 4-year extended Diploma in Electronic Engineering offered by the Faculty of Engineering and Technology at VUT. Designed for students who do not meet the requirements of the mainstream 3-year programme.

Admission Requirements
Minimum APS score of 22 (excluding Life Orientation)

Required Subjects NSC levels

  • Mathematics 3 40–49%
  • Physical Sciences 3 40–49%
  • English Language 3 40–49%

Life Orientation is excluded from the APS / score calculation.

Extended Curriculum Programme variant of Diploma in Electronic Engineering. Admission requires a National Senior Certificate with a minimum of 22 APS points and minimum level 3 for Mathematics, Physical Sciences and English (Table 3).
