INSIDER TIPS FOR PROSPECTIVE STUDENTS:

  • Research: Before you attempt to apply, first decide which career path you want to take. Remember a career path should align with your passions, interests, skills and strengths.
  • Gather prospectuses: After deciding which career path you will take. Gather prospectuses to see if the institution offers the courses that align with your career path
  • Requirements: The next step would be to check requirements of the courses you are interested in. If for example you do not qualify for BCom accounting At MUT, you would then check requirements at TUT. You will repeat this process until you find an institution that will accommodate you with your current results.
  • Gather documents: You cannot submit an application without uploading the necessary documents. Your documents should be certified (not more than 3 months) and scanned (scanned documents should be clear)
  • Application fee: Find out how much application fee you need to pay in order for your application to be processed.
  • Application Method: Find out how to submit your application. Majority of universities prefer prospective students to submit their applications online. Prospective students can apply using a form but extra application fee is payable.
  • Application Status: After submitting your application, use the student number and pin you received to check your application status. Constantly check your emails as universities use emails to communicate with you directly.

PLEASE NOTE:

  • Some universities may require you to attend an interview, write a test or submit a portfolio.
  • Some universities may require additional documents such as police clearance, undertaking form and declaration form
  • Some universities may not require an application fee.
  • Some universities may have application fee waiver

Applying to university can be both exciting and daunting. But with careful planning and a proactive approach, you can navigate the process with confidence. Get ready to take the first step towards an exceptional academic journey!
