About This Programme

A four-year BEng in Electrical and Electronic Engineering with expertise in power systems, power electronics, and electrical machines. Electrical engineering is the number one scarce skill in South Africa.

Admission Requirements

Required Subjects

  • Mathematics 6 70–79%
  • Physical Sciences 6 70–79%
  • Afrikaans or English 5 60–69%

Additional Requirements

  • Final Grade 12 Mathematics mark of 70% or higher
  • Final Grade 12 Physical Sciences mark of 70% or higher
  • 60% or higher in language of instruction (HL or FAL)
