BEd Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE)

A four-year BEd for practitioners working with children from birth to four years. Offered via distance learning only. Requires a clearance certificate in terms of the Children's Act (Act 38 of 2005).

Required Subjects

• Home Language 4 50–59%
• First Additional Language 4 50–59%

Additional Requirements

• Clearance certificate per Children's Act, Act 38 of 2005
• Access to computer and sufficient Wi-Fi
• First Additional Language level 5 required to register FAL as Language of Learning and Teaching
