About This Programme

Development Studies equips students with knowledge and skills to analyse and address social, economic, and political challenges in developing communities, with a focus on Sub-Saharan Africa.

Admission Requirements

Required Subjects

  • English Home Language or First Additional Language 4 50–59%
  • Five 20-credit subjects (no language restriction) 3 40–49%

Additional Requirements

  • Preference is given to applicants who ranked this as first choice.
NSC Degree pass with English 4 and five 20-credit subjects (no language restriction). Matric Exemption accepted.
