About This Programme

The BSocWork prepares graduates for professional practice in social work, covering social welfare, community development, counselling, and social policy.

Admission Requirements

Required Subjects

  • English Home Language 4 50–59%
  • Five 20-credit subjects (no language restriction) 3 40–49%

Additional Requirements

  • Preference is given to applicants who ranked this as first choice. Recognition of prior learning for applicants with relevant work experience is considered.
NSC Degree pass with English HL 4/FAL 5 and five 20-credit subjects (no language restriction). Matric Exemption accepted.
