About This Programme

BSc Chemistry is offered with second majors in Computer Science, Hydrology, Mathematics, Physics, or Zoology. It provides a rigorous grounding in analytical, organic, inorganic, and physical chemistry.

Admission Requirements

Required Subjects

  • Mathematics 5 60–69%
  • Physical Sciences 4 50–59%
  • English Home Language or First Additional Language 4 50–59%

Additional Requirements

  • First preference given to applicants with no prior tertiary study.
NSC Degree pass with English 4 and Mathematics 5 and Physical Sciences 4. Matric Exemption: 30 with English 'D' HG/'C' SG and Mathematics and Physical Sciences 'D' HG/'B' SG.
