Mangosuthu University of Technology (MUT) has confirmed that several diploma courses are still open for 2026 late applications, giving prospective students another chance to secure a place at one of South Africa’s leading universities of technology. List of Available Courses and Admission Requirements for MUT 2026 Late Applications

Diploma in Building:

  • National Senior Certificate (NSC) with a Matric rating of:
    • Mathematics level 4
    • English level 4
    • Physical Science level 4

 

Bridging / PreTech Programme:

  • Mathematics level 3
  • English level 3
  • Physical Science level 3

 

FET/Nated Applicants:

  • All subjects must have a minimum 50% pass rate:
    • Quantity Surveying N6
    • Building and Structural Construction N6
    • Building Administration N6
    • Building/Engineering Science N6
    • Mathematics N6

Applications for MUT’s 2026 courses are submitted through the Central Applications Office (CAO) online at www.cao.ac.za. Spaces are filling quickly, so late applicants are encouraged to apply as soon as possible.
