What happens if you did not accept the offer at Unisa?

If you do not accept the offer from Unisa, the offer will be withdrawn and your place will be given to another applicant. You will not be able to study at Unisa in the academic year for which you were offered a place and you will also lose your application fee since it is non-refundable.

You should know that Unisa does not guarantee that you will receive another offer in the future. If you reapply for the same programme or a different one, you will have to go through the selection process again and compete with other applicants. There is no guarantee that you will meet the admission requirements or that there will be space available for you.

How do I cancel my Unisa offer?

To cancel your Unisa offer before registration, you can contact Unisa via email or call and inform them of your decision, your offer will be withdrawn and your space will be given to another applicant. If you decide to cancel your offer after you have registered, you have to login to your Unisa portal and and de-register all the modules you have registered for that specific course.

Unfortunately, you cannot accept two offers at Unisa. If you are accepted to two different qualifications at Unisa, you will need to choose one you want to accept. If you do not accept one of the offers, it will be withdrawn and your place will be given to another applicant.

Accepting two offers is not allowed because there are other thousand applicants who qualify for the same courses, who are eager to study at Unisa, so it will be unfair for one person to accept two offers and you cannot study two programmes so it makes sense to only accept one offer.
