UNISA receives millions of applications in an application cycle therefore you need to apply as soon as the applications open to avoid disappointments. Before you apply at UNISA keep in mind of the two important things. Firstly, you need to research and choose the course you want to apply for and secondly you need to check the admission requirements of the course you are interested in.

Research and Choose Course
The first step in applying to UNISA is to research and decide on the program you want to pursue. UNISA offers a broad spectrum of courses across various fields of study. Take your time to explore the available programs, consider your interests, career goals, and ensure that the program aligns with your aspirations.

If you plan to apply for higher certificate courses, take time to go through the Follow on Qualifications document which is available on the UNISA website. Again before applying at UNISA ensure that you familiarise yourself with the additional documents required such as Police Clearance and testimonials in some courses.

Check the Admission Requirements
Once you've identified the program you wish to pursue, it's crucial to check the admission requirements specific to that program. UNISA has different criteria for each course, including academic qualifications, prerequisites, and any additional requirements.

Make sure you meet all the requirements before proceeding with the application. When checking  requirements don't conclude that you qualify based on your APS alone.
