About MultiChoice Bursary

The MultiChoice Bursary is designed to not only provide financial assistance to students who demonstrate academic excellence, the MultiChoice bursary scheme aims to uplift and empower students to have access to quality education.  The MultiChoice Bursary Scheme also aims to promote and develop young talent and assisting students in making their dreams and aspirations a reality.

 

The Bursary Scheme is open to students in all years of study, including students who have enrolled for their first post-graduate degree that is focused on the STEM discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) particularly the following fields:

  • Actuarial Science
  • Applied Mathematics
  • Computer Science
  • Data & Information Science
  • Digital Media Technologies
  • Electrical Engineering
  • Electronic Engineering
  • Information Engineering
  • Information Technology (AI & Robotics)

 

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE MULTICHOICE BURSARY

To qualify for the MultiChoice Bursary you must meet the following requirements:

  • You must be a South African citizen
  • You must be currently in Matric (in 2023) or have completed Matric
  • You must have completed or completing matric at a quantile 1 to quantile 3 school
  • You must be studying or intend to study full-time, towards a degree qualification within one of the fields listed above
  • You must be studying or intend to study at a recognised institution of higher learning in South Africa

  • Registration fees
  • Tuition fees
  • Accommodation
  • Living Allowance

 

UNIVERSITIES THAT ARE STILL OPEN FOR THE 2024 LATE APPLICATIONS

 

MULTICHOICE BURSARY REQUIRED DOCUMENTS:

  • Your certified ID Document
  • Certified copy of Matric certificate
  • Certified copy of your matric latest results if currently in matric
  • Full academic Record if you are studying
  • Proof of registration if you are a student
  • Acceptance Letter
  • Parents or guardians proof of income (latest payslips if employed, affidavit if unemployed, proof of sassa grant or pension if applicable)

 

How to apply for the Multichoice Bursary - 2024

Follow these easy steps to apply online for the Multichoice Bursary for the 2024 academic year.

  1. Visit the MultiChoice website HERE
  2. Scroll down and click on the "click here to register" tab
  3. Read and accept the terms and conditions
  4. Click on the "sign in with google" tab
  5. Read instructions carefully
  6. Click on the "Continue" tab
  7. Complete your online application and attach required documents.

NOTE: If there is any information that you do not have on hand, you can save your application at any point, and then go an get the necessary information or documentation, and then come back and complete your application

 

CLOSING DATE:
