UNISA 2024 SECOND SEMESTER APPLICATIONS AVAILABLE COURSES REQUIREMENTS:

Ensure that you check minimum admission requirements before you apply at UNISA. Do not assume that you qualify based on your APS alone, also check the specific subject requirements. The following people can apply at UNISA for 2024 second semester:

  1. First-time Unisa applicants.
  2. Unisa students changing to a new qualification and/or specialisation.
  3. Applicants who previously applied for admission and were not offered a space or who were offered a space, accepted the offer and did not register.
  4. Students completing a higher certificate or any other programme and who wish to continue with further undergraduate studies.
  5. Everyone wanting to start a new qualification

 

University of South Africa (UNISA) Required Documents:

  • certified copy of your identity document
  • Certified copy of your Senior Certificate/National Senior Certificate or equivalent

PLEASE NOTE: Your application will not be processed if you have not submitted all the required documents. 

 

How to apply at UNISA for 2024 second semester

The UNISA application process is easy and can be completed entirely online. By following the steps listed below, you can navigate the UNISA application process with ease. Pay close attention to ensure that all your details are filled in correctly.

  • Visit the UNISA website HERE
  • Click on the "undergraduate" button (circle)
  • You will be asked if you have student number or not
  • Fill in your personal details. If you already have a student number you will be required to enter your personal details and your student number.
  • Choose your desired courses (two choices)
  • Fill in your address
  • Enter your school leaving details
  • Upload required documents
  • Submit your application

 

NOTE: If your application is successful, you will need to accept or decline an offer to study at Unisa. After accepting an offer to study at Unisa you will receive an official admission letter stating the terms and conditions of your enrolment. Take note of any deadlines or further actions required to secure your place.

 

TIPS TO APPLY AT UNISA!!

  1. The application should be completed accurately and fully.
  2. Apply using your names as they appear on your ID book/card or passport (do not use initials or nicknames).
  3. You are allowed to apply for only two study choices
  4. Try to keep your study options open
  5. If you have applied before use your student number to re-apply

 

University of South Africa (UNISA) Application Fee

The application fee for UNISA is R135 for South African citizens. This Application fee is non refundable and all applicants must pay the fee to have their application considered. UNISA provides various payment methods, such as credit/debit card payments, bank transfers, and online payment portals. Keep the proof of payment as it may be required for future reference purposes. University of South Africa (UNISA) Closing Dates

The closing date for second semester applications at UNISA is the 10th of May 2024. Applications received after this date will unfortunately, not be considered for admission. The courses available are limited therefore applicants are encouraged to apply as soon as possible to secure their spot.
