Mercedes Benz is inviting South African students to apply for their bursary program for the 2024 academic year. Applicants have until 26 January to submit their applications online to be considered for funding.

FIELD OF STUDY

The bursary programme is open to students who are pursuing or want to pursue undergraduate qualification in the following fields:

Supply Chain / Logistics
Electrical Engineering
Industrial Engineering
Mechanical Engineering
Finance
Accounting
Human Resources
Business Studies (Sales, After-sales, Marketing, Communications)
Law (Legal and Compliance)
Computer Engineering
Information Technology
Software Development

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE MERCEDES BENZ BURSARY

To qualify for the Mercedes Benz Bursary you must meet the following requirements:

You must be a South African citizen (foreign nationals may apply if they qualify for a work visa/permits as per the provisions of the Immigration Act 13, 2002)
You must have completed Matric OR in matric (class 2023)
You must be studying or intend to study towards an undergraduate qualification in the above mentioned courses
You must be studying or intend to study full time
You must be studying or intend to study at a recognised and accredited university in South Africa
You must have achieved a minimum overall average of 65% for Matric final exams
You must have achieved a minimum overall average of 65% for most recent semester results, if currently studying
You must NOT be an employee of Mercedes-Benz South Africa Group of Companies
Preference will be given to first and second year students
Students with disabilities are encouraged to apply

CLOSING DATE:
